This week we learned about Lag Ba Omer. We watched a video about a parade that happened a long time ago.Then we made hats so we can march in our own parade.

Since it was raining we headed to the shul to have the parade with the rest of the school. We wore our special parade hats and we marched around to good music. 

An update on our caterpillars they all became cocoons... 

We continued learning about Our World by learning about the ground. We learned that the floor is the ground and we can stamp and bang on it because its hard. 

Learning about the ground brings us to our next topic of planting. We read the book "The Apple Seed" and cut an apple open to see the seeds inside. 

We learned that if we put the seeds in the ground it will grow into an apple tree. Therefore we glued the apple seeds on our ground to finish off "Our World" bulletin board.

We Learned about the three things a flower needs to Grow. We used the diagram to help us learn. 

We got ready to plant our own flowers. We decorated our flower cups, put the seeds in the soil, sprinkled some water on top, and put in in the sun to grow. 

We even got to plant Peas and flowers outside...

It was a fantastic Week !!!
