Our World

This week we started learning about our new unit... Our World. 

We started the unit with the sun. We learned that the sun is up in the sky. It makes us warm and it makes it day time. 

We also learned about the moon. It is up in the sky and makes it night time. 

We learned that the moon makes it night time and dark and the sun makes it light time and light.

For our classroom we made a Sun and a Moon. When the lights are on its sunny and Morah Rivky puts the sun on the wall. When the lights are off Morah Rivky puts the moon up on the wall and it is dark. 

This week we also practiced and reviewed the first letter of our name. 

Morah Rivky even gave us our very own classroom chair by having our first letters taped on it.

We Love having our letter on our chair!!!
