This week we Continued learning about the SUN. We went outside and discovered our shadows.
We then continued learning about the Ocean, stars, and clouds. We learned that the ocean is water and has fish inside.
We learned that if you take two triangle you can make a star. We had lots of fun painting our stars with silver paint and glitter.
We noticed that the clouds look soft and fluffy so we had fun glueing cotton balls to our clouds.
Morah Rivky even taught us that RAIN comes from the clouds and showed us using paper bowls and water how it happens.
We practiced our colors this week...
By using our fine motor skills to do colored puzzles
By using our gross motor skills by jumping from color to color...
This week we also learned about Lag Ba Omer. We learned the lesson to love each other from the story of Rabbi Akiva and his students. We all love our friends and are friends love us.
This week we got a special surprise... our very own caterpillars. We read the book "THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR" and learned about the different stages. We learned that at first the caterpillar is very small. Then it eats a lot and gets bigger. Once its big it goes into a cocoon and out comes a beautiful butterfly.
We even got to make our own Butterflies...
It was a Great Week !!!
