Our pre - nursery friends were very busy getting ready for the holiday of Sukkos. We spoke about the special Mitzvah of building and eating in a sukkah, and shaking a "Lulav and Esrog". Our class explored the Sukkah in our very own backyard. We saw that a Sukkah has walls and a roof made from plants called "Schach".

We built our own cardboard Sukkah in our classroom. After we colored it, we used different building tools to put our Sukkah together. We discussed the names of different tools. Then we all had a turn to stand inside our Sukkah.
We made our own 2D sukkah using glue and sticks.
As a Sukkos treat, on Friday ,we were so lucky to be given pizza for lunch. We really enjoyed eating outside in our very own preschool sukkah on such a beautiful warm day!
